  • Double Car Driveway (20' x 20' to 24' x 24'): The most popular residential configuration, providing ample room for two vehicles side-by-side.
  • RV or Heavy Equipment Pad (12' x 40'): A long, reinforced strip designed for motorhomes, trailers, or boat parking. Needs heavy steel reinforcement.

  1. Thicken the Edges: The outer perimeter of a driveway is most susceptible to breaking, especially when vehicles drive off the edge. Dig the edges an extra 2 inches deeper and wider to form a thickened structural border.
  2. Do Not Skimp on Subgrade Compaction: The concrete slab is only as good as the ground underneath. Soil must be fully compacted. Laying 4 inches of crushed gravel, followed by thorough mechanical compaction, prevents settling.
  3. Allow Adequate Curing Time: Keep vehicles off your newly poured driveway for at least 7 to 10 days. The concrete requires this time to reach about 70% of its ultimate load-bearing strength.
